Junior year is about strengthening academic performance and extracurricular involvement while further developing your college list and goals.

Junior & Senior Year Package

  • Review high school courses taken and advise on remaining course load options

  • Set and stay on top of goals for extracurricular and leadership activities

  • Continue to help pursue honor recognitions (e.g. National Honor Society, California Scholarship Federation)

  • Develop school list to ensure good fit and a healthy balance of reaches, targets, and safeties

  • Guide student and family through timeline strategy (Early Action, Early Decision, Regular Decision) in order to determine which is the best fit

  • Map out standardized testing approach and timeline (PSAT, SAT, ACT, AP, IB)

  • Strategize about communication with schools’ admissions offices

  • Create a comprehensive overview of school requirements, class profile statistics, majors of interest, and other data specific to each school on the college list

  • Prepare student for any school interviews with admissions or alumni

  • Work closely through the essay brainstorming and editing process, finalizing all essays so they are tailored for each school

  • Manage deadlines for each school as it pertains to number of essays, application submission deadlines, letters of recommendation, etc.
